Email Sync / Push Email on Galaxy S5

I hope that someone can assist me. Over the weekend I was backpacking and set my phone to Power Save mode.
Now that I am back to civilization I have turned Power Save mode off, but my emails are no longer pushing to my device without a manual sync. I have gone into my Email > Settings > Manage Accounts > sync settings > Sync Email (checked) > Sync Schedule > Set Sync Schedule (Push).
I then did a re-start on the device to ensure that the settings were properly saved, but it does not appear to be working.

My email is syncing when I do a manual sync, but prior to using the Power Save mode it always just pushed to the device within a few moments of actually receiving the email.

Can anyone provide me with some guidance on what I need to do to correct this situation?

I had a similar problem. Here is where I finally fixed it. In Settings; Mobile data; options; make sure Restrict background data is not checked and Auto-sync data is checked.
