Glad it wasn't just me...I was going crazy! I was checking my exchange settings a million times and trying to log into OWA to see if it was a server issue...but everything was fine.I have all my settings set up however randomly
my email sync will stop working or just not pull
anything.
I send test emails and wait for it to sync still
nothing. anyone else experiencing this or know
of a way to fix the issue?
@cyber warrior - no i didn't check over wifi I didn't even think to try it that way. How's your connection... have you tried testing it over wifi?
One thing you can try is re-setting the email app.. Go to.. Applications.. Manage Applications.. All.. Gmail.. and clear the cache and data.
Have u tried delete the email account I have 5 email accounts on my with all different company's and never had any issues.UPDATE:
seems that the auto-sync is not working again. I had to
manually update in order to get my emails in :/

Same here!
Sycn was working flawless since 4am this morning and then right after noon ET it started not syncing. Again getting the "socket timeout" error in activesync menu. I even started to notice right around 11am that the "syncing" was starting to take longer and longer each time. I have mine set to a 5 min update schedule.
This blows! Thats the ONE thing I miss about my BB Storm...flawless email system... (the ONE and ONLY thing lol)
Keep me posted if yours works again.
I just got it to work a little bit ago, but it seems to have stopped working again.
I can only get mine to work once a day. Otherwise I either get "socket timeout error" or "cannot connect to server". Pretty much have given up on the Thunderbolt for email and calendar. Other than this issue, it is a great phone.
I think I figured out my issue yesterday.
my sync seems to be working right now but i'm going to
be monitoring it through out today.
do any of you have autostarts?
- i found that my autostarts program had disabled the
both mail events from the "after startup" drop down box.
I enabled both of the mail events and all seems to be
well right now.
i'll update later on how syncing went today.
Do you mean auto sync or something else?
