For a while now I have been unable to send emails, it just comes up "failed". I have been to "3" and they say it's a Samsung problem. I went into a customer service shop for samsung and explained the situation but apart from saying that it may need a software update the guy seemed more concerned that it was nearly home time, yawning and saying ah it's nearly 4 o'clock... ****! Anybody else had the email failure problem?
 
Welcome back! Which email app are you using, the stock Email? Which email provider? Have you tried removing that email account, then adding it back again?
 
Hi , yes I'm using the stock email app. I'm on hotmail and I've tried deleting it and re - installing it. I am able to send emails on computer etc so it must be an issue with my phone.
 
Well, glad it works now! In case the issue crops up again, the Outgoing Server settings are the important settings to look at, if the problem is with sending emails.
