Emails disappearing

I have a HTC 1, and my emails disappear from my inbox every morning. It does not matter if I have read the email or ignored it, in the morning all of my mail has gone not to be found anywhere. Any suggestions will be helpful. I have tried all of the possible email settings.

Check your email app to see how long it's set to retain emails. Some can be set to retain (or "sync from") as short a period as "today" - which would explain your situation. The normal retention period is 2 weeks to a month, or forever if you need all your emails and archive them every few months.
