Emails/features etc HELP

I would like to be able to have email accounts and check them etc but do NOT want it to notify me everytime I get mail..how do I do this?

Also, I have an efax that sends fax to my email in pdf form etc...can I retrieve these on my device and store them? how? and how do I create a word doc on my Droid 3 and attach to email all through device??

Open the e-mail app. Go to Menu/settings (or More on some devices) and turn Notifications to off.

For you docs and pdf's, I would reccommend the app Documents to Go. Paid version. This will let you view attachments within your mail, and edit and save them. I believe they work with Word 2003/2007 type documents.

Normally, your device should save any downloaded docs to the Download(s) folder on your memory. Attaching a file to an e-mail is essentially the same as any attachment. Just browse to the Download(s) folder, and select the doc.
