Welcome to Android Central! Are you talking about the Galaxy Tab S3 tablet, or the old S III phone?

I've never heard of this as a native feature. There are apps on the Play Store that can do it, like Fall Detection.

I have a Samsung Gear S3 Classic smart watch, which includes the ability to send SOS messages to selected contacts in case of an emergency. It would be even better if it also included a sensor that detects that the user has fallen and sends a message to the SOS contacts if no action is taken to turn it off. Can you tell me whether it will be possible in the future to update my watch's software so that includes this feature?
