I accidentally pinned YouTube, and can't get out of the app. Restarting phone doesn't work either. I tried swiping up from the bottom and hold but nothing happens. I wonder because I use Nova Launcher and have the gesture for Google Voice for Home Button? I'm now typing this from my old Note5 phone. Please help. Thanks.

Try going into settings in its search bar look for pin windows and toggle off Screenshot_20201129-192514_Settings.jpeg

Ok how about safe mode long press power button then on the screen long press power off until safe mode appears and tap. After it reboot try turning it off and then restart the phone to get out safe mode

Bummer. I finally did see Safe Mode, tapped it, but it took me back to YouTube. :(

Ok just swipe up from bottom of YouTube and hold it will say unpin and should be good

Edit : I'm using Nova also

The swipe up.and hold is same time about quarter inch up the screen from middle

You're awesome, thanks for trying. As mentioned in my original post, I did swipe up, but nothing happens, only got a vibration. In Nova Launcher, did you choose Google Voice or Google Search for your home button gesture? Maybe that is the culprit? I can't even go to setting in Nova Lance. I'm very worried.

What if you try from either side of the home button or center , swipe up and hold ?

I tried both Google voice and search and it unpin

Ok, don't swipe up , try this

Drag your finger up quarter from bottom without releasing and hold until it says unpin

Omg, I finally pressed and hold the volume down button and power button to restart my phone. Back to normal now. Thanks for your effort. That was no fun. Ha.
