Its seem as if there are more and more of us Android users missing the smileys on our phones. This is a huge issue for most of use and the apps that are out there seem to mess with the phone and dont work properly. I am not a tech phone person so maybe Im just doing things incorrectly. IDK but if android makers know the people are upset and really want this feature why is it not an option. Who's bright idea was the green little monsters anyway total FAIL!!!!!!!!!!! WILL THERE BE A FIX TO THIS PROBLEM AND SOON??????

It is not a little green monster, it is Andy the android "Mascot". There is no problem to fix, it works just fine.

I use whatsapp and on the rare occasion i actually use a smiley, they have those options available to me in "normal" form, but honestly i can't remember the last time i used a smiley face in a conversation.

I think it was when I had a blackberry...many moons ago.

anyway, GT has a point. Every platform has their own version of things, and the "little green monster" is Android's. If it's honestly THAT much of an issue for you, maybe go back to iphone?

I'd hate to see Android lose a user over something as trivial as smiley faces though.
