Emoticon Help

Can anyone recommend a great emoticon app for the text program on the Droidx?

drives me nits that you can't include emoticons on texts with this phone.

What are you talking about? The stock text messaging app has emoticons, as does Handcent.

OK then I don't see them. I text using the stock text program but I have no idea were to select an emoticon. sorry I am very new to Android.

When sending a tex its the bottom right button. Its marked with

Not that I know of but if rooted you can edit the keyboard file and make your own. File is latinIME.apk.

I actually got handcent and its exactly what I was looking for. awesome app thank you very much.
