I am on stock rom rooted and i can no install any other rom. I have my imei number but the efs folder is not showing anything, can i replace the folder or am i screwed?PLEASE HELP.

Thank you Skunkape60, you are doing an outstanding job on this forum you are always there to help and i really appreciate that. Unfortunately, i already tried flashing stock via odin and the problem is still there, i just used the easy method and that didnt do it either.

Not sure either, but the folder is already empty so I dont think it can get any worst by overwriting it.

well i found out that my phone is in factory mode and i need to turn this file off to get back to user mode.
/efs/FactoryApp/factorymode
thats why i need the efs folder for.

Thank you, i got the files on the phone but they disappear on reboot. I need to find a way to fix that.

Try this
Open a terminal emulator
Type su
Then enter the following after the #
echo -n ON > /efs/FactoryApp/factorymode

(yes ON is the correct setting to turn it off)

Then I had to reboot for the change to take effect. FYI, I had to go through initial setup after the reboot.

it didnt work for me because the folder is empty but if it is not empty in your case, this command will bring you the lockscreen and the power menu back.
