I believe the fingerprint lock affects the lock screen interaction. It's a shame really.

Tried stock and Textra, both had this issue. Google's messenger app for some reason did not even load my messages.

Same for me it just reads as unknown

I wouldnt say so. The fact that fingerprint so fast, you literally unlock and swipe down in the fingerprint to view notifications.

You bring up a valid point! I guess I just miss my LG G3's lockscreen interface sometimes! I do love the convenience of a fingerprint sensor.

You could always try an alternative lock screen? Microsoft has a pretty nice one with many options!

You could always try an alternative lock screen? Microsoft has a pretty nice one with many options!

If you use Android Pay you will need to stay away from custom lock screens (applies to all android phones). Using custom lock screen, you will need to unlock your phone with PIN even if the custom lock screen allows fingerprint unlock. And if you do use fingerprint unlock, you will then end up in a loop authenticating with android pay. Just some nuances using android pay.

Just an update, we're pushing for lock screen interaction to be expanded in the beta group. Not a guarantee, but we'll see if Huawei decides to listen to us. I'll keep you all posted.
