Enable low battery alert sound

My last phone beeped every few minutes to let you know that battery was low. My new LG L just turns off when it gets near 0%. I've googled & checked all the settings but there is nothing for low battery notification.

Is there a way to enable low battery alert sound?

I install battery doctor on my little 0pt0 and it does that for me, but I believe it in your battery options in settings, you have to enable low power switch tho

Thank you. Android has built-in battery saving functions, so I avoid installing apps because they push advertisements. I just can't find any option for low battery alert sound in system settings. My Nexus 7 blinks the LED, though I'm not sure.
