Enable Only WCDMA but disable HSDPA?

Is that possible? I repeat. I would like to choose 3G(WCDMA) only, not HSDPA.
I haven't seen anything that would offer this on the Market.

i would LOVE this.

on my nokia n95/85 i had 3g enabled but hsdpa (3.5g) disabled. it was plenty fast, but the battery lasted oodles longer.

seems strange that android is so customizable yet the actual phone bit is so locked down!
