Encrypt phone (pin at bootup)

On the Verizon Note 10+, where is it that you setup the phone to require PIN at startup? I am not finding this. I only see the option to encrypt the SD Card. Thanks

Settings then lock screen and screen lock type. Once that's set up it automatically requires pin after a restart

that's really weird then as the phone is not asking me to input the Pin when it first starts up. I get prompted for the pin when it displays the lockscreen. it should be the first thing displayed before loading the OS.

look for an option called secure startup in biometrics and security.

yeah, there is nothing listed as such now. Had to do some looking online and it looks like it's called "Strong Protection" now. you don't seem to get the PIN prompt at first startup anymore.
