Extended Unlock

Apparently Samsung added a new feature with latest update where your phone stays unlocked as long as you are within your home wifi distance. My problem is I can't get it to stay on. I'm a little confused if it is suppose to work for only 4 hours or as long as you stay in your home wifi. I find that sometimes it doesn't turn on at all or I have to redo it every so often. I do this: "settings-lock screen-extend unlock-enter pin-trusted places-dropped pin" I already entered the dropped pin location. I hate having to enter my pin every 10 minutes (that is the longest they allow) and this extended lock seems to be glitchy. here is my phone info:

Samsung Galaxy A14 5G
Android version 14

i think I may have found a solution under 1) Settings > Modes and routines . . where you can keep on as long as on wifi network

Is Samsungs Modes And Routines available on the A14 5G or maybe available in the Galaxy Store?

You can setup a routine base on the parameters you choose. I have my set up in the afternoon & I do not have to put in my pin or password repeatedly.

I don't use the trusted places as it puts my home in the middle of 6 lane road.

yeah that works....I do "if I'm connected to my wifi it stays unlocked"....hopefully it stays unlocked forever as long as I'm connected and not just for 4 hours

There is that toggle in the time settings for all day, (I assume that's what you're referring too) but I haven't tried it. Hopefully, that works for you!

It is kind of weird....sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't....I think I have it set so that anytime the phone is set to my home network or dark mode it is suppose to stay unlocked but it does not. here are my settings.
