Encrypted My Edge

I encrypted my S6 Edge after thinking about it for a long time. I thought it might slow it down, but much to my surprise it benchmarked higher. A good bit higher. I was averaging around 4600, now I get higher than 5000. Anyone experience this? Feels just as snappy as before.

Details please? Encrypted the data on it? Encrypted messages and email? Done with an app or is this a Samsung feature?

There is no app. You encrypt in the settings of your device. It's factory encryption. All user data.

I receive my Edge tomorrow. Sounds like a useful feature. How do you view or use your data unencrypted? Will the fingerprint reader "unlock" it?
