End of June for ICS???

Yeah... I agree. I think some folks aren't really doing the math... Myself included at first. But after sitting down and seeing what I am paying now... I would only be paying $10 to $20 a month more...BUT that would include both of my daughters getting smartphones. The bad part is that it looks like I would lose my grandfathered unlimited data plan. I was hoping to keep my phone on the unlimited plan and then have my wife and kids switch to the shared data...but that isn't going to happen....:'(

I over reacted at first too, until I calculated it myself. And you get the mobile hot spot feature. And it's unlimited voice, so I can dump the home phone if I want.

Anyway, back on topic: How may times has everyone hit the "Check for updates" button today??

I believe they said June 12 would be the day to "start" pushing ICS. It will get to your phone when it does!

Is this your first Android phone? I ask because no one who has had an Android phone in the past would make a statement like that. We like our updates, and want them NOW! ;)

Yea at this point since it's the 12'th and no update you should be threatening to leave Verizon, file complaints with the BBB the FCC the ASPCA the abc 123's, touting they are the spawn of Satan purposely withholding valuable updates just to make you miserable and rioting in the streets.

I almost forgot that you also need to sue them and you might as well throw McDonald's in that lawsuit because I'm sure that eating all that fattening unhealthy food they force us to buy is also in some way slowing down the release of this update.

Don't forget stating to leave Android all together and go to *gasp* the iPhone!

There is nothing more fun then an update thread however.

Glad you had my back on that one, I can't believe I forgot the old switching to the iPhone ploy.

Hmm...this just hit me. Did anybody say 6/12/12 - or did they just say 6/12. As in, June of 2012, without any day specified?

Just stirring the pot a bit, 'cause I really don't care one way or the other. I love my phone as I bought it, I'm hoping I love ICS too...whenever it arrives.

You are just a poser...you wouldn't be on this thread if you didn't care as much as us!

I'd just like to say that my Maxx continues to work perfectly, the sun continues to shine, and there is still beer in the world. So I can wait.

I agree I can wait, but I also have to admit I'm more than ready. The thing I miss more than anything about my Nexus is ICS. I think having it on the Maxx is going to be make me like this phone even more.

Any of you consider the leaks? .209 is extremely stable. No issues for me.

Sure, the process of getting .209 on there isn't as easy as you wish, but its not bad. Now, rooting it is a little bit of a pain.

tired of ROMs and Kernels and bootloaders, wish I could just make my own UI without having to load up so many different hacks
