Endless loop after update to 6.0.1

Help this is happening to my Nexus 7 now, i am helpless , can't shut off, can't do anything! how do i get out of it?

Have you tried a hard power off (press-and-hold Power button until device turns off)?

Followed by a system cache wipe and Factory Reset in Recovery mode?
