AC Question

I bought an endoscope for my s8+ and will not work. The scope works on the laptop. I've tried camerafi, camerafi2, and usb camera with no success. Camera I'd not found and doesn't light up. The camera has a micro port and I'm plugging it into my adaptor that was sent with my phone. Needing some help.

Re: Endoscope don't work on Samsung s8+

I have exactly the same problem and was disappointed to see there were no replies with assistance or ideas. I did notice that the specifications require that the phone it is connected to must support OTG function. How do I know if my Samsung S8+ supports OTG?

Thanks for the reply. I used the micro USB to USBC connector which came with the phone (forgot to mention that earlier) and have the CameraFi app installed but unable to recognize the camera when attached. I wonder if there is a feature in the Samsung S8+ I need to enable or if I need a kernel for using external cameras. The camera works well with my PC, so I know the camera works.

I worked with mine for an hour with no luck. Then removed the case. It works without the case. The large USB adapter won't plug all of the way in with the case on.
