Endoscope not working on Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

[Android Central Question]

Have purchased one of the Chinese endoscopes that is touted to work on USB-C and Micro USB. The LED's do not light up and I have not found any application that will allow the camera images to display. I plugged the camera into a USB port on my Laptop and the LED's do light up. My question is whether the Samsung Galaxy S21 USB port allows video data transfer to a camera.

Welcome to Android Central! What's the brand and model name/number? Does it specifically say it's compatible with Android devices?

By default Windows is plug and play capable with far more devices than Android. It may simply not be compatible with Android or require a specific app to function.
