Enlarging image on MMS with S3 phone

Hi there - another question - On my previous Iphone 4S, when someone sent me an MMS I could drag the image in a diagonal motion and enlarge it. With the S3 the picture image via MMS is TINY and you cannot enlarge it! Seems a bit silly and very antiquated? Am I doing something wrong or is this REALLY how the S3 MMS picture message works!??

I use GoSMS for messaging, and it allows you to click on the image, and then drag two fingers in opposite directions to zoom.. Stock messaging seems to be able to do the same.. Have you installed another messaging app?

I can't do it either using the stock messaging app. Have to manually save the image to zoom. The messaging app seems to treat picture and video message the same, when I click on the picture, it ?plays" it for like 5 seconds. Is thus normal? If not, could this be the issue?
