EPIC Facebook Contacts!! Name Change

I want to get my facebook pics on my contacts, i can sync them and I can get the ones i want so i know how to do that , but what I cant to do is alter their name so that they are named what i had originally instead of everyones first or last name or made up names they used when created the account which is what i'm really trying to avoid having on my fone can i do thats example i would like to change my bf's name from Jonh Smith to babe but it wont let me or I do not know how can anyone help?!

You cant change the name on the contact bc it is from fb. You need to add a new contact, call it "Babe" and then link that contact to the fb one and you should be all set.
