Epic SMS problems

Hello guys this is my first post. I am hoping that someone else is having this problem. My wife's epic will not download SMS attachments ie. Pics. Has there been a fix for this? Using stock SMS app. And I tried to use handcent and same results.

Be sure that you are not on WiFi. Was having the same problem, but as soon I switched over to 3G or 4G, I was able to download the MMS attachments{Pictures}. How this helps...
