Equalizer not working after 4.3 update

I've cleared cache and reset the device and any aftermarket EQ still will buy affect the output sound. Anyone have a fix? I turned off Music FX but that never worked properly before the update.

I'm having the same issue. Has no one found a fix for this, yet? On the stock rom, and really don't want to be bothered with rooting.

Yeah no assist from the manufacturer, ap developer, T-Mobile. Nothin on several other forums either

I ended up getting T-Mobile to replace the device with the old android on it
