Eris and iMac no longer connecting

When i hook my Eris to my iMac via USB the Eris charges but i no longer get a message asking me if i want to mount the Eris. This just started happening. Any ideas on what to do?

Just switched USB cables and it is now working again.

Sometimes it is the simplest issue.
