Eris LED Flashing

Is there an LED flashing light (like on the Droid) that goes off whenever you have a notification waiting for you? (Eg - text, e-mail, v/m.. etc)

Thanks! Does that mean that there is no LED light up in the upper right of the device? Can you change the color of the light or no?

I am not sure about changing the colors of the lights, maybe someone else can give some input on that, but yes there are 2 LED lights in the upper right corner as well. An orange one for when you charge and it turns green when phone is fully charged, and one next to that that flashes green when you have an email as far as I know.

There's a setting under notifications about trackball and LED for notifications. Also, some apps have additional settings to change the color of the LED.

know specifically which apps change led? ive used handcent and chomp both with options to change led color but when u change , eris still wont do . it will just do the default flashing green

The Eris is only equipped with a red and green LED. Your color options are limited to red, green, and orange which would be a combination of red and green. I have never tried to use any apps to modify the LED color but those are the possible colors if the apps work correctly.

Yeah def not working on eris. Changing led colors that is. Prolly something to do with UI sense

Try disabling sense and change led with handcent.

The LED's on the Eris or Hero won't change from an app. All you can do is make them blink. You can't even change to one of the three available colors from a third party app.
