Eris screen- visible dots?

Just got the HTC Eris and noticed a dot matrix all across the screen very visible at white pages, ie. google search website. Is this normal with the Eris or the type of display it has? Concerned it may be dust or a defective one, thanks

These are on my device as well. They don't bother me at all, nor am I worried about them.

It's the capacitive screen. Some can be seen more than others
