Erratic screen behavior

I have been having issues that seems worse than it use to be. If I type a message on say Facebook or type an email on the browser, then try to click farther back in the text to fix something, it freaks out and keeps going to the beginning or end. Today the little cursor just kept bouncing all over the screen and wouldn't stop. Anyone else have this?

I also hate it when I click on a text box on a Web page and it zooms up on it. I know it is meant to make your life easier but sometimes it just messes stuff up. Is there a way to turn that off? I can zoom to something if I want to manually.
