Error Code 67 after rooting ZVJ

Ok, so I got a used ZVJ that was working perfectly fine. Had not registered it yet because I wanted to root it first. So, I followed the ZVJ rooting instructions (the 95% automated one) and it rooted just fine. However...after rooting, I started getting the error code 67, which from all the searching (yes, I searched but maybe I'm using bad search strings or key words to search) is due to a radio mismatch.

I followed the instructions to the letter (which is why it rooted perfectly fine) so I'm not sure why all of a sudden it's giving me the error code. Anyone have a similar experience and know how to fix without having to get the MSL? As noted earlier I never registered the phone so I don't have one to use in the dialer fix for the code. Phone has a clean ESN per checkesnfree.com, so it shouldn't be tied to someone else's account.

Anyone??

Hello,

My name is Shane, I'm the owner of CheckESNFree.com

I'm kind of curious about something... You said that the website shows your device has a clean ESN, so I'm trying to understand what the issue is. If the ESN is clean, that would indicate the device isn't tied to an account.

If so, then Error 67 is normal as it means that the device isn't provisioned onto a network for 3G data.

If you have flashed the device to work on another carrier, make sure you have updated the EVDO settings so your data will work.
