Question Cant update. error code 410

I have had this issue for almost a year now with my s10+. It works fine except it keeps trying to auto update and fails with the same code 410. I have not been able to update with Verizon update tool or smart switch. Looking for some help to fix my issue.


Model Name: Galaxy S10+
Model number: SM-G975U
One UI version : 4.1
Android version : 12
Build #: SP1A.210812.016.G975USQU9IWG3

If that still doesn't work, I want you try the unlock firmware you will need Odin patch B latest version also from XDA
You'll put model # in Frija G975U1 and CSC code VZW if not available XAA

I just tried Odin and Frija and am getting "<ID:0/005> FAIL! (Auth)". On my phone it states that "abl fused 9 > Binary 6. "

I have tried not selecting the bl in odin and still get the same error.

When using OTA update it looks like I'm trying to go from :
SP1A.210812.016.G975USQU9IWG3 to SP1A.21082.016.G975USQU9IXE1

Using Frija I'm trying to go from:
G975USQU9IWG3 to G975USQU6GUJ3/G975UOYN6GUJ3/G975USQU6GUJ3

I have confirmed that I have USB debugging enabled.
I am using odin 3.14.4 and Frija version 2.0.23364.3 the newest available from github.

Just my educated guess but looking at the firmware versions I'm on "G975USQU9IWG3" and if that number indicates the boot loader version, I am trying to go to a boot loader version 6 from boot loader 9 which is not allowed.

I'm not sure where to go from here so any help on where to go from here would be helpful.

Ok so Odin and Frija is good , I'm sorry but I have to ask you are in download mode? And when you try the next flash you restart the phone and go back into download mode? Make sure your cable is a known good working one as these are a major problem if not and try different USB ports on the computer

For the firmware files that you extract use all 4 in the corresponding slot in Odin with CSC use home CSC so it doesn't factory reset

I am in download mode.
I did not exit download mode for each try. I have done that now and am still getting the same errors.
I am using the cable it came with but also tried a different good cable AND each port on my laptop for each.

The whole error that I am getting on my phone is SW REV CHECK FAIL : [abl]Fused 9 > Binary 6

I used the patched odin from XDA :

If anyone else had the this issue,
I used G975U1 model instead of G975U in Frija and that's what ended up working.

Thank you mustang7757, I am a very happy camper now.
