Error message during Hard Reset / Galaxy j7

[Android Central Question]

I had a black screen after an update installing failure.
I tried hard resetting the phone but halfway through the "installing update" I get an error message and I can't proceed to the recovery menu

Welcome to Android Central! Was this an official system update pushed over-the-air, or did you download a file from some website and try to install it manually?

It looked like it was an official update and I had just reset the phone
I apologize for the late replies I am currently abroad

whenever I turn it on it shows the samsung Logo but after that nothing

Can you do a factory reset in recovery?

Yeah it was pushed over the air
And no I can’t even access recovery mode

Can you get into download mode ?
