Error message "Unfortunately Android keyboard (ASOP) has stopped."

[Android Central Question]

On booting, my vtech MAX tablet keeps getting an error message *Unfortunately android keyboard ( ASOP ) has stopped. Pressing OK on this message clears it but it keeps popping back up. I have managed to get into a guest account on the tablet, and some functions work fine. Factory reset does not remove this error message, so it'll need someone than really knows their android stuff. Thanks

Welcome to Android Central! Try going to Settings>Apps, select the keyboard app, then clear its cache/data.
