this occur every time I connect my X to my Mac. Why is this happening? How do I fix it?

Problem fixed. After phone was connected in upper left corner USB symbol I checked enable phone to USB Mass Storage.

Is the USB connection set to USB Mass Storage?
I was having that issue well. Even with it set to USB mass storage the phone wasn't being recognized. What i had to do was (while the phone was hooked up to my mac) switch to Charge Only mode, hit okay, then switch back to USB Mass Storage and voila! No Name drive showed up on my desktop. Hope this helps!
