Error: unfortunately, HwModuleTest has stopped

When i change the lighting from manual to automatic mode, the screen remains at low even if i showcase my mobile to sun light or LED light. To test the sensors, i used *#0*# from dial pad and selected the "Sensor". Once i clicked the sensor, Accelerometer sensor, GyroScope Sensor an Magnetic sensor values are changing frequently. I observed under proximity sensor and Lights sensor it is showing
"PROXIMITY:0.0 ADC:0(0,0,)"
"TSP color ID : 10"
Under Lights sensor
Light Sensor: 0 lux
Light Sensor : Null (R,G,B,W).

When i clicked on Light Sensor button, it is throwing an error "unfortunately, HwModuleTest has stopped".

Please let me know if i reset my mobile, will that sensors work? Or is it belongs to hardware issue?
