I posted in another thread (sry, not enough posts to link) earlier today regarding issues with my Nexus 6P getting updates. One reply made me think more about what I am seeing, so here is a dedicated post.
Since my phone arrived last week, I have received errors from the very first boot. On boot the first screen I received is the new Marshmallow boot loader check - "Your device is corrupt. It can't be trusted and may not work properly" as documented at Google (g.com/ABH). It boots OK and seems to work fine... at least until I attempt to run the November security updates which fail consistently. I continue get this message every time the phone boots.
I have absolutely not attempted any funky business with this phone - no rooting or any other hijinks. Has anyone else seen this out of the box? Thoughts on my potential courses of action... since it appears I can't update, I think I should return it. Not sure how that process will go... anyone done it yet? Thanks for your thoughts... I love the phone but don't want a $500 brick.
