Errors on Recovery Screen after Hard Reset... now what?

I have a S8 that just recently did an update. That update seems to have done something to the radio so even though I have bars (sometimes) it can't recognized the network. I'm doing a CDMA SIM (which is fine in another phone). Found the following when I went to recovery screen: 20180807_210003.jpg The question is now what? How do I get this fixed?

I'm sure someone more familiar with it than I can help, but, possibly one thing to try is to go to the network provider's website and see if there's a number to which you can send an SMS which then causes a push of the carrier settings to your phone. That might reset them.

If not, a page where you can put them in manually. Either of which might potentially recreate the file that appears to be missing.

Or, get the carrier to fix or replace the phone as it appears to have been broken by a pushed update.

Thanks for the input. Unfortunately, the search for an SMS code proved futile. Additionally, since it won't detect a network, I can't send anything anyway. I even try to open up things with codes, *#2263# (I think) and none of that works.
Did see something that was exact same problem on an S8+ and the suggestion was to flash to the latest update. However, one: I can't find the EXACT phone model on Sammobile; and two: if the update caused the problem, how does reloading the same update fix it?
Oh and the phone is okay since it did this before, we got a new SIM, phone worked then updated and stalled out.
