Does anybody know how it works I have a pixel 4XL on T-Mobile if I wanted to try Google fi even though I’m making payments through my carrier can I still try Google if I on it? I have a business with two numbers this would help me a lot and having to carry two phones at the same time really appreciate your help thanks

Just use the device unlock app. You can unlock for 30 days. If you payoff the device you can permanently unlock it.

Once you have that you can enable dual SIM. I receive texts and calls from both SIMs simultaneously. Data only works through one SIM at a time though.

I use a physical tmob sim for work and FI on esim. It works well but as mentioned above, data will work only on one sim at a time. This is a pain and different than when I ran a similar setup on my iPhone xs max. You have to manually go in and switch the service to get mms and other data downloads. Would be better if this happened automatically. I do like having FI again for my personal account though.

I haven't had any issues using data from one provider. I'm still allowed roaming and none of that counts against my usage. If it's an issue... You can communicate through WhatsApp or something else.

It's not a problem with data access per se, but you can only use a single provider for data at any one time and therefore you need to manually switch to the other provider/sim when you want to change.
