eSIM has always been on the S20 Ultra 5G and S20+ 5G.So i am sure there wasnt an eSIM option before the latest update but now its there. So that means i can use 3 numbers? S20 Ultra Exynos Version.
It would seem that eSIM is not available on the U.S. versions. See...Is this on a US version? I was told Samsung doesn’t support this feature in the states.
eSIM has always been on the S20 Ultra 5G and S20+ 5G.
See this from Sammobile back on the 1st April which states...
"With two physical SIMs and an eSIM, only one physical SIM stays active at a time"
"On the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, at least, you can set up an eSIM and use it in conjunction with SIM slot 1 as well as a microSD. Alternatively, you can fit two physical SIM cards and an eSIM, but you will only be able to keep the eSIM and SIM slot 1 active at the same time. It looks like the eSIM and the second SIM slot don’t work simultaneously, regardless of whether you’re going for a 3-SIM configuration or a dual SIM+microSD. However, you can manually switch between SIM slot 2 and the eSIM when you need to use the former."

Sorry, you did not mention that in your original post. I that case, the eSIM feature could well have been added.Er... My S20 Ultra is the 4G version...

Not a lot of point in trying to sell 5G handsets in Indonesia as it does not even have a 5G network according to this article from the 19th June 2020...It WAS supposed to be the normal S20 Ultra 5G everyone gets but Samsung Indonesia is very famous for taking out good stuff and not lowering the price.
Not a lot of point in trying to sell 5G handsets in Indonesia as it does not even have a 5G network according to this article from the 19th June 2020...
Indonesia 5G: Too many operators, not enough spectrum
Which states...
"5G is coming into view all across Southeast Asia – except for the regional giant Indonesia.
The archipelago state has 273 million people, 345 million mobile subs and higher GDP per capita than the Philippines, Vietnam and Cambodia.
Yet it's not even at the 5G starting line."
Yes. But at least dont remove it and sell it for the 5G price...
This S20 Ultra costs me USD$1100. And phones other than Samsung for instance have 5G in them...
A basic Samsung S20 Ultra 5G with 12 GB RAM and 128GB storage costs £1,199/USD$1,536 in the U.K inc: 20% sales tax. £999/USD$1,280 nett of tax. Therefore, your 4G only model is cheaper.
Since 5G, according to that previous article, is another 4 or 5 years away for Indonesia, having a 5G phone in Indonesia is pointless at the moment.
