Espn Radio app broken 2.2

I have had a pretty good experience with Froyo thus far EXCEPT the paid Espn Radio app slows my phone (Droid X) down to a brick when streaming in the background. I tried to uninstall / reinstall but it still crashes.

I decided to try "tunein radio" app (free) and it works flawless! The stream doesn't cut out every 30 minutes like the Official PAID app!

I have the same problem with mine.

Judging by the comments in the marketplace, it looks like it is an issue with the Droid X. I have the app on my EVO with 2.2 and it works perfect.
