Etiquette for Google Play Beta

Is there etiquette to posting an app on Google Play in beta? Will testers be upset if the app times-out after a few weeks, or makes intentional omissions? I?m primarily interested in operation across devices, not functionality. Should I license prior to beta? I intend to price it modestly and would happily give my testers a functional version at release. Seemingly innocent questions but I?m at a loss. Thanks.

You should definately license before beta, one of my beta apps got banned because of that, while I was waitigng for you artist to finish my art.
