Events/Reminders notify a day before

How can I have my events and reminders stop displaying a day early? I want it to only display them on the day of.

I use the default calendar app to set events and reminders in.

I'm using Samsung Calendar & when I add a reminder, I set the time for when I want the reminder to appear. (Above Pic) That's the only time it reminds me.

I can't remember if Google calendar was also pre-installed on my phone. Maybe that is what you are using.

Awe, thanks for the info. I've never used Google Calendar. I had no idea what options were available.
