Every once in a while, my Note says it is "docked..."

Which is a little strange since I don't have a dock. Huh?? Does anyone know what's going on?

And there it goes again....I get a little notification signal, then it says I am docked, and I get a docking screen, similar to the headset screen.

No. Not the last time it happened. But, frankly, my micro USB port hasn't been working perfectly.

Maybe some lint in the microUSB connector that simulates dock mode.

Things are not good. I have 2 Windows 8.1 pcs, one Windows 7, and another Windows 7 at work, and my Note will not connect to any off them. I am doing a factory reset. Wish me luck.

Update: Turns out my micro USB port is almost totally gonzo. When I hook it to any pc, using any cable, it will not connect, it still charges (occasionally), and it frequently says it is "docked." The AT&T warranty department is sending my a replacement. Luckily, I have an extra battery and a wall charger for it, so I don't have to worry. Meanwhile, tracking says I should get it tomorrow.
