types the most ridiculous words, and even when suggestions show, doesn't actually change anything. I give up!! God help you if you don't proofread before sending anything. Ok rant over.

I stopped using swipe on my keyboards as the results were often too inaccurate. It became quicker to type than to swipe, in my usage case.

I used swipe for about an hour a few years back. Never liked it.

I've had pretty good luck with it. It's mostly useful when I can only type with one hand.

I only swipe and suggestions and auto-correct work pretty good, specially considering that I write in three different languages all the time. I guess the prediction machine needs a bit of time to learn your patterns and improve accuracy. I'd recommend you to insist for a little while instead of abandoning it for these initial mistakes.
