i'm coming from a palm pre. it's a decent phone, at best, a great OS that's crippled by extremely lacking hardware. another draw back is the relatively small screen. the evo's huge screen is one of the big selling points for me. that said, i think there is a limit to how big a mobile phone should be and the evo is certainly about to that breaking point.
as much as we will all love this phone, obviously it will not be our last phone. we'll all want the next big thing and for some of us that will be as soon as next summer. who knows what that will be and what the specs will be like. one thing that i'm certain of, it's going to be hard to go to a smaller screen after having something the size of the evo. so here's to hoping that smartphones of the future will allow such real estate like that of the evo. until then, let's enjoy this beast.
if push came to shove, and the next big smartphone had a smaller screen, how many of you would have a hard time accepting that after being exposed to the evo? i know that i, for one, would.
