EVO 4G LTE delayed to may 25th?

Is it bad that I look at my EVO 3D in disgust as i wait for my E4GLTE? Sigh, This is a never ending cycle of upgrades. maybe i should join Phone Junkies Anonymous?

As far as I know my I have not had any reports that the EVO 4G LTE has been delayed.

Its still on schedule to lauch this Friday, May 18th

If I get word I will post it.

Ok I have a real problem with this OP. The site S4gru.com had stated that the release date was always supposed to be June 10th even after Sprint announced the release date of May 18th. Then the site stated that the phone would be released with an OTA update. Now they have a "reliable" source that says the phone will release on the 25th. As some have pointed out why would Sprint announce stores opening early on the 18th if the phone has been delayed? Seems to be not very reliable. Perhaps this poster is just trying to stir up trouble where there isn't any. Oh well if I have to wait 1 more week I guess I'll have to wait. What else can I do?

I feel your pain, I have called RS twice today and they dont have any info. Ive seen a few Tracking numbers but as always thats inconclusive. I want my phone on Friday. I took the day off of work!

You mean the same S4GRU who "Confirmed" June 10th as launch date a few days before Sprint announced the 18th? Seems like a bunch of hacks.
Per last internal notice, the 18th is still on. Pre-orders are high and shipping was delayed a day or two to stores, but we are expected to have them in inventory Thursday.

I hope no one is taking that S4gru guy seriously. He is nothing more than a hack who likes to stir things up. Countless people have been told by Sprint reps that the orders will start shipping tomorrow. I hope Sprint sends that guy a cease and desist letter.

Originally I ordered with Sprint and wirefly. Canceled order with Sprint. Saw wirefly is showing 2 to 3 weeks before shipping, even though I ordered at 8am first day of presale. Wirefly order has been a little odd to begin with, talking to different reps doesn't seem to help. So.. pre ordered through best buy, too.

Today I get a voicemail from best buy stating they may not have the phone in store by launch date due to it being held up in customs..

Take it how you will.
