EVO 4G Owners: How are you liking or not liking the large size?

At first, when I looked at it in the store, I thought it'd be too big.

However, once I got my hands on it, I realized it's perfect. I have no problem with one handed use, but I also have really long fingers.

Hey EVO 4G owners, now that you've had the phone a while, how are you liking or not liking its large size? As the Bionic and other 4.3" screen phones come out, I'm wanting their features but not their size. It seems too big, particularly once you throw in the bezel. But I'm interested in the perspective of people who use something this size daily. Maybe it's not that big a deal. No need to defend or to sell me, just share your experiences.

1. If you thought it was too big at first:
A.) does it still kind of bug you?
B.) have you gotten used to it and don't think about it?
C.) do you now actually appreciate the extra screen space?

2. If you weren't worried about the size at first or didn't realize how big it was going to be, has it started to grate on you?

Was worried, but as soon as i held it in my hand i knew it was just fine.

3. Your next phone will be:
A.) Definitely smaller
B.) Definitely this size or larger
C.) Don't particularly care
Undecided, might go to a 4' if it has SAMOLED or SLCD (or some other cool screen)

bold :p

When I bought the Evo, I wasn't concerned about the screen size. I wanted the larger screen for videos and web browsing. My old phone, the Palm Pre, looks like a toy phone now. My next phone will definitely have a 4"+ screen.

On a side note, several of my friends & coworkers teased me the Evo was too large after I purchased it. Now several of them are wanting a 4"+ screen for themselves.

2) NO
3) B

The size is what first caught my eye on the Evo. Plenty of room to to play games ,watch videos,or browse the web without going to landscape or squinting at a screen .

I was a little worried when I saw the demo, but it took about 10 minutes for the coolness to make me forget about the size. Now I can't live without it. My next phone will definitely be a similar size, 4.3" is about perfect.

I asked, and they allowed me to put one in my pocket at the Sprint store. It didn't feel bulky. Looking at my Palm Pre, it would be difficult go back to a smaller screen size.

I love the size. I was a little concerned that it would be uncomfortable in my front pocket (where I've always kept my phones) but it isn't at all. I would not want to go smaller now. It's perfect!

Initially looked large to me but not anymore. Actually it looks small now. Would not mind to try a slightly larger phone (though the Samsung Tab 7" is way too large for me).

Coming from several years with two different Treos (prior to my Palm Pre), whose form factors I really liked, I initially liked the Evo dimensions, screen size, and weight, but found that the thin profile felt a little weird in my hand. Specifically, I always felt like I was gonna drop it because it didn't have quite enough 'girth.' (FWIW, my hands are slightly larger than average.) However, since fitting my Evo with the awesome Seidio Innocase Active-Limited Edition (Burgundy) (only available from Amazon.com, BTW), it fits my hand perfectly--just enough added beef to feel right (not to mention excellent protection, which I've experienced first-hand).

So for me...Evo + Innocase Active Ltd = Perfecto!

I have big hands, so I really like the large screen. My internet browsing is better, Angry birds is much more fun than my ipod touch. My only gripe is the case, I am using a 5" GPS case with Velcro, and I hate it, hate it, hate it, did I say hate it ! ! The case I want is out of my budget right now, but I am hoping next pay day I can get it ! ! I had a Blackberry 8330, I was really bored with that, so finally was able to get the Evo. I really hope Sprint cancels the $10 fee, that is just not fair to me. I don't have 4g, and it won't be in my area till the end of the year, so they say.

Coming from a 3.2" screen this was huge at first. However, the screen is starting to look small to me now - I'm even hoping for something bigger. Hehe

I love the size of my EVO - and won't be going back to anything smaller ever(hopefully).

I love the screen size, and would definitely consider an even bigger screen.

I love the screen size, which is why I chose this phone over the Epic. I would like to stay around this size because I couldn't imagine having something bigger then this. The biggest I'll probably go would be 4.5-4.7, but I wouldn't mind staying at 4.3, it's the right size for me.

I'm loving the screen size also. I might go a little bigger but not much.

Yes, loving it more and more...When I look at my palm pre in the drawer - the screen seem to look as if it had gotten smaller. Lol.

At first before I got the Evo I thought the Evo and the Epic were too big. But after I got the Evo the more you use it the more you get used to it. It doesn't really even seem all that big now. I don't think I will be going to anything smaller for my next phone. It fits me perfect.
