EVO 4G Suddenly not charging.

I am wondering why my Evo is not holding a charge after over a year of use. I plugged it into the charger last night and yes I plugged the charger into the wall and this morning, it had little to no charge at all.What gives?

Contact Sprint because there have been known issues with the charging ports on the Evo.

What I've found is that the batteries get stuck in a discharging loop .... I'm using battery monitor widget to monitor how my phone is charging. I like it because the widget will show the battery colored green when you're plugged in (red when not) and the milliamp text (mA) will be green when correctly charging and red if discharging.

Just got home from the Sprint store. The wife's EVO quit charging the other day and last night the USB port came out. Since it was a known issue, TEP gave a free replacement. They didn't have any EVOs, so they gave her a Nexus S 4G.

Mine also had this issue a couple months ago, but mine didn't completely break off. I ended up using my final Premier upgrade to get the Epic 4G Touch and got the $90 buyback on the EVO.
