EVO bought in store only or can it be telesales?

I have tried to see if this was posted anywhere. Does anyone know if you can only buy the EVO in stores, (Sprint Store, Best Buy, Radio Shack) or can you call telesales from Sprint to order it. My situation is a little weird because of the Sprint messing up my account, changing my phone, which was the main phone and main number to making my wife's phone and phone number the main phone. Because of the way my discounts were setup they had to leave my wife's number and phone as the main number, but have it written that my phone number will be the one eligible for the yearly. But I can only get yearly over the phone so they can override the system.

If I have to wait a month for telesales, I guess I will wait, but I wondered if anyone knew were it will be available for sale.

I'm almost positive you will be able to order and possibly pre order from telesales or online from Sprint. I think most devices are introduced that way with the exception of the Palm Pre. And we all know how well that sold....

In the past, I've ordered high profile devices from Sprint Telesales and have received it earlier than launch day. Do I think this will happen here? Probably not, but if you ordered it Wednesday from Telesales, I can see a Friday (Launch day delivery) if they make it available in the ordering system / warehouse.

Verizon has this method down PERFECT (in terms of making sure PRE-ORDERS go out by launch day), Sprint... not so much (from my own experiences).
