Evo EOL come October

Perhaps its to drive up sales of the EVO 3D, though I don't see anything being as popular as the OG EVO. Since it was the first of the "big boy" phones, anything after that has its work cut out for it...regardless of carrier.

I wanna see what this looks like.

Good thing Cyanogenmod will continue to be built for the Evo. The product may be EOL'd from Sprint/HTC, but the Evo will still get AOSP source updates to CM7 (and presumably future iterations of CM as well--although of course, this is banking on the developer community to build future versions of CM for the Evo, but considering how popular the Evo is, i think this is a good bet).

Actually, I'm rocking Cyanogenmod now. There still is no better phone than the Evo on the market; this 3D crap is just a gimmick. Now, if they bring out something ridiculous next year...

Long live the Evo. Will always be an Evo fan. I got mine exactly a month ago and i am still in love with it even though i got it when it was technically outdated technology.

Am keeping this thing as long as I can. Who knows, maybe a stable ICS port will come to it later this year. Like Camel said, the next Nexus pending what carriers will get it is probably what will force me to retire it. Even after that..maybe I'll flash it to MetroPCS and give it to a family member.
