Evo Froze on boot up screen.

Ok i was watching a video on my Evo and then it just turned off and reseted itself but the Evo never makes it past the HTC Evo screen. I have taken out the battery and tried to turn it on then but still gets froze on that screen. Is there anyway to fix this problem?? My phone is stock if you need to know.

I think a factory reset would be your only option if you've let it sit there @ the HTC screen and nothing has happened for a while.

Yea i tried a hard reset and still the same thing, froze on the start up screen.

define hard reset.

to me that is holding down the vol- key and power button at the same time until the recovery screen comes up with the skating andys.

Now can you tell us the truth? Did you try to root and it didnt work? I dont see how watching a video on a stock Evo would reboot you and make you stuck like that.

No i promise i wasnt trying to root, i was watching a video i downloaded off the internet when all of sudden it just rebooted.
